Welcome to check-dev.percona.com. This is a service run by Percona to provide database version and alert information for various open source products.
These products may need to make API calls to the Check Service along with a tiny payload allowing it to identify the product family and its version.
This is configurable and not required, although some features of the Percona products may not work if unable to communicate with this service.
This service detects outdated versions and other data which Percona uses to provide the latest information and recommendations to you (e.g. available updates).
